On July 12-14, 2024, the VANSTAR representation moved west of Poland. Specifically, to the town Boguszów - Gorce in the Lower Silesian province, where the first-ever edition of Star Rally Poland, an off-road event for those who are not afraid of getting their boots dirty, took place on the site of an old quarry. It was the site of a rally of trucks from all over Poland. Although its name alludes to the iconic Polish truck, and the fact that it was there reigned supreme, the rally featured a variety of vehicles over 3.5 tons with powertrains: KrAZ, URAL, JELCZ, SETRA, etc., but also heavy equipment like tanks and military vehicles.
During three days, automotive enthusiasts competed against each other in difficult and muddy terrain. In addition, apart from the backdrop of concerts and tasty food, many attractions awaited them, such as the opportunity to buy a ride in truck, take part in a car rollover (of course, no one was hurt!) and a helicopter flight over the event site, thus they could admire the beautiful mountainous terrain. It was certainly an event for the brave who like strong impressions. We are sure we will see you there next year.
